Simonsoft Content Delivery Subscription Model

The subscription model for Simonsoft Content Delivery is based on two compontents.

  • A fixed price microsite package that specifies which features are enabled. Each package contains a certain amount of reserved capacity for data traffic and storage.

  • Variable pricing based on data traffic and storage, in the form o units.

  • Storage and traffic units are available in two forms

    • reserved capacity that is paid up-front on a yearly basis

    • additional usage, invoiced quarterly and based on actual usage

Description of available Packages and Units

Simonsoft Content Delivery is designed for use as a hosting solution for external websites, for “company internal” microsites or as a delivery solution for customer portals with restricted access. The feature set required for such applications differ slightly, for example related to user authentication. The microsite packages contain a certain amount reserved capacity of data storage and traffic. These amounts are set based on the needs of a typcial “small” Simonsoft customer and they are listed in Metrics and Definitions.

Simonsoft Content Delivery invoicing

Microsite Packages

Purchased up-front for a 1–year period. Each Microsite package contains a specified amount of reserved capacity (see Metrics and Definitions).

Traffic and Storage Units

Customers may purchase additional reserved capacity in the form of traffic/storage units up-front. The order confirmation contains a summary of the total reserved capacity (i.e. traffic included in the Microsite Package plus reserved capacity in the form of units).

Unless otherwise agreed, the customer accepts to receive invoices from Simonsoft for additional usage of traffic or storage. The invoices will be sent on a quarterly basis in the form of a report which contains actual usage, reserved capacity, additional usage and the additional charges. If the additional usage exceeds 8 units, Simonsoft may switch to monthly invoicing.

Additional charges are in the form of Traffic or Storage units from Simonsoft price list unless otherwise agreed.
